Stable records studio

Recording studio near Prague — a good recording starts with capturing the sound right

Stable Records is a recording studio 15 minutes from the centre of Prague (Březová-Oleško). We record bands, solo artists, spoken word and podcasts. The studio has microphones, preamps and converters that let you capture the sound exactly as it should be. I combine analogue and digital gear — whatever fits the job best. I will advise what to use for your sound. The full equipment list is on the Studio Equipment page.

For beginners

Recording for the first time?

What to bring to a recording session?

Bring your own instruments you play — guitars, basses, drumsticks if needed (we have our own drum kit). If you play keyboards, we'll arrange it in advance. Otherwise, don't worry about anything — we have everything else.

Do I have to play perfectly?

No. That's exactly why we're here. We edit timing, tuning and minor mistakes — and while doing so, we teach you what and why we're doing it. The goal is a great result, not stress from mistakes.

How long does a typical session last?

We can usually record, mix and master one single in 8–12 hours of work. The exact estimate depends on how prepared you are — we're happy to discuss it in advance for free.

How does the first consultation work?

Free and no obligation. Write to us about your project, send a demo or description. We'll respond within 24 hours with an estimate of time and cost — and with tips on how to best prepare.

Let's make a hit together ;-)
