About Us

My name is Jan Maštalíř and I'm an active musician (guitar, vocals) in the bands Tcheichan and Manu . I've been involved in music, recording and production for over twenty years. In January 2022, I fulfilled my big dream – opening my own recording studio near Prague , where creativity, technical professionalism and a pleasant atmosphere come together.

Ever since childhood, I've loved the idea of helping musicians create great music. That's why today we offer comprehensive services from professional recording through mixing & mastering to the option of studio rental , where you can manage your projects completely on your own. As one of few places, we also offer a recording studio with accommodation , which you'll appreciate not only during long sessions, but also as a great combination of music and relaxation.

I'm happy to help you not only with complete production and mastering, but also with just a part of your project, for example recording only instruments or vocals. If you're interested in studio rental near Prague for your own production, the doors of Stable Records are open to you.

Education and help for beginner bands

Our main goal is to help beginner bands and musicians navigate the recording process and teach them the entire workflow. We offer a learning-by-doing approach where during recording I explain technical aspects, help with arranging, choosing instruments and microphones. I consult with you on pre-production so your songs have the right direction from the start. I believe every band deserves not only a quality recording, but also the knowledge that will help them grow as artists.

During sessions, we provide technical guidance, studio training options, and detailed consultations on your arrangements. If you're complete beginners, don't worry – I guide you step by step through the entire process from material preparation, through recording, to the final mix and master.

I love playing and arranging music, but I equally enjoy diving into technical details. That's why we're constantly expanding our equipment with new recording gear, top-quality microphones, amplifiers and effects, as well as a wide range of software plugins for mixing and mastering, all available for your projects.

Friendly atmosphere as a bonus

At Stable Records, you'll find not only a professional approach, but also a friendly and creative atmosphere. In summer, you can also use the garden with a pool or enjoy some grilled food after recording. Your recording session can easily become a pleasant getaway too.
